The annual death toll of those diagnosed with an asbestos related disease in Wales stands around 200 which is more than twice the number of people killed in road accidents.

Mesothelioma Nurse for South Wales Appointed

Naomi Horne has been appointed as MesoUK Clinical Nurse Specialist for South Wales and the post is funded through MesoUK/ Cardiff and Vale LHB (Llandough) the post is for 4 days a week for 2 years  and one of the key remits is to  establish support groups across South Wales.  Naomi did hold post of  MacMillan Lead Lung  Cancer Nurse in Llandough Hospital.
