Global Asbestos Awareness Week April 1 – 7, 2020. “One Word. One Week. One World.”

April 1st marks the start of Global Asbestos Awareness Week. We at AASC are pulling together contributions from our Sapphire supporters to deliver a bulletin to contribute to the debate. If you have something you would like to say about asbestos please do get in touch this week, phone 01495 272  479 email enquiries@a-a-s-c.org.uk

 Group Meetings 2020

Due to the Covid-19/ Coronavirus situation we have made the decision to cancel our asbestos support group meetings for the next two months in April and May, the future scheduled meetings will be reviewed dependent upon the public health situation. Our members are in the most vulnerable group with underlying health issues, so it would be unfair to place them in a risky situation.

We will continue to communicate as normal via telephone , and email and other social media channels to provide ongoing support.

Making our service felt!

Much of what we hear about our service is anecdotal and personal stories are a very powerful tool BUT they are not enough when we make our case to decision makers and possible funders.  We need to have hard evidence about the impact we make. If you would like to help us prove our impact,  get in touch enquiries@a-a-s-c.org.uk
